Osteopathy

At Body Health Center we use a wide variety of hand techniques to improve physiological function and/or support homeostasis. The direct access to all of the state-of-the-art equipment available at our Body Health Center, along with our specialized knowledge, formulate treatment combinations for immediate rehabilitation.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a system for diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and other problems that can arise from them. It was inspired by Andrew Tailor Still in the late 18th century. The principles underlying the treatment and diagnosis of the patient’s problem are as follows:

· The body is a whole.
· Structure and function are interrelated.
· The body is capable of self-regulation, self-healing and health maintenance.

Our treatments focus only on the obvious symptoms (back pain) and deal with the holistic picture of the patient, trying to identify the mechanical or functional reasons that created the problem in the first place.
