Pain is often not caused by the changes in bones, muscles or ligaments, but because the processing of the impulses in the body does not work properly.
Chirotherapeutic grip techniques (from the Greek “cheir” = hand) come into play here, and high-energy impulses are used to briefly suspend pain processing and restart the system.
So-called blockages are the root of all many problems. These include displaced bones, hardened muscles, and pain, among other things. The chiropractor tracks down the causes and removes the blockage. To do this, his hands press on bones and muscles with specific grip techniques, and he transmits impulses to the affected joint, moving it minimally. In this way, he can bring the nervous system back into balance. The body’s own self-healing powers are activated, and regeneration processes are set in motion.
Chiropractic can be used for various diseases such as sciatica, lumbago, neuralgia, headache, cervical spine syndrome, scoliosis, joint problems, overuse syndromes, hyperkyphosis and hyperlordosis many more.
Duration of chiropractic therapy: approx. 90 min. (Anamnesis, manual massage, chiropractic) (Anamnese, manuelle Massage, Chiropraktikbehandlung)

The sacro-occipital technique describes all the techniques that we use between the sacrum and the occiput in order to eliminate misalignments of the bones, especially pelvic misalignments. This method was developed by Major Bertrand DeJarnette and is concerned mainly with restoring the balance between the upper part of the spine and the lower section.
This form of treatment is used in chiropractic to relieve pain and improve functionality. Different positions of the respective body area are newly blocked and straightened, congestion can flow away, muscles mediate and the area is readjusted.
Almost all areas of the body can be treated, including the jaw joints, the neck, back, pelvis, foot, ankle, knee, hip, hand, wrist, shoulder and elbow.
In this way, the entire nervous system can be influenced in a natural way and the body is stimulated to heal itself.
The activator method was developed in America and provides a gentle treatment method with the help of the CIT “Chiropractical Instrumental Technique”.
The activator is a purely mechanical instrument that specifically and gently sets impulses of different strengths. This is applied to the corresponding part of the body and triggers the impulse — very gently and more audible than noticeable due to the “click” of the device.
This barely noticeable impulse is only minimally mechanical, but above all, it transmits the information to the nervous system as to how the corresponding structure must be correctly positioned. This information is supposed to support the organism in activating the self-regulatory powers.
This so-called activator method is about transmitting the “recovery information” to the body via the activator impulse and thereby increasing the chance of health.
The treatment technique is used for pain or malpositions of the entire musculoskeletal system, whereby the whole body is examined for malpositions. The tension or misalignment are then treated and released with a gentle impulse.
