Shockwave therapy

Shockwave therapy is an innovative, non-invasive and pain relieving treatment. It is mainly based on the assumption that shockwaves effect the cellular environment by generating free radicals, which activate the formation of analgesic substances (pain-inhibiting chemicals). By modifying parts of or the entire cell membrane, shockwaves prevent the nociceptors from building up a membrane potential. Thus, pain sensation is avoided.

Being an ambutolary, non-surgical treatment the benefits of Shockwave therapy are obvious and include immediate pain relief with rare side effects
